5 Most Powerful Tips to Succeed In Dating

To succeed in dating, the most important thing you must have is a positive mindset. With a powerful and positive mindset, nothing can stop you from getting the woman of your dream.

Dating is a very emotional behavior or action, where you depend on your subconscious mind most of the time. So in order to succeed in dating, you will need to beat the little voice inside of you.

Therefore to assist you in your future dating experiences, I am going to share with you 8 of the most powerful tips to help you to succeed in dating:

1. Forget about your past relationships. Do not let your past relationships, especially those which have failed, to affect the way you view new relationships. Sometimes memories should be forgotten as they can ensnare people. It is always beneficial to start over.

2. Be a little selfish. Treat yourself with more priority. There is a saying that "you should not put someone in your top priority if he or she does not even consider you as a priority." Do what you want and what makes you happy.

3. Have optimism in your new or future relationships. Have faith in it and trust that it will work out. Do not go in with a state of mind that it will not last long.

4. Be yourself. It is common to be a different you at the start of the relationships as both of you will want to leave a good impression in each other minds. But you should always try your best to preserve your true characteristics as this is crucial in a long term relationship.

5. Treating each other with respects. All human being deserve a basic respect from one another. Therefore, take time to hear your partner out whenever there is an argument and respect what they have to say.

Bear these 5 tips in mind and apply to your relationships and you will succeed in dating.

Leaving a Long Term Relationship

I tell you I rejoice today when I think about how I followed my own heart and moved on from the man everyone else thought I should marry. It was one of those times in my life when I was so torn up. I had dated this guy for three years - liked him and thought he was a great person, but something just was not right. Maybe we were too much alike. By everyone else's opinion he fit the perfect profile, had every worldly commodity you could think of and was a good person. But something was missing and though I could not figure it out, it just was not right.

So the best thing that I ever did for myself was to ask my favorite aunt who had a very successful marriage, how do you know when you are in love? She gave me a simple answer, "You will know when you know." That ended my dilemma. I said to myself if I don't know and it's been 3 years then there really is a problem. So I very kindly moved on. I distanced myself so that there would be no temptations to undo what I had just done. That was the hardest, hardest, hardest decision I had ever made, but it was the absolute best thing that I ever did for myself. It released him and it released me and we both found someone better suited.

Within nine months of that event I met and married the "you will know when you know." This relationship was completely real and completely right. Moments had determined what three years could not obtain. He is something else. Something wonderfully else and we are complete opposites. There is never a boring moment in our lives. My close friends still joke about how I married the man my family had not even met until a few days before the wedding when we flew in to have the big day. He took me totally out of character. Up until that point for me personally it was a cardinal sin for me to ever encounter anyone that did not have parental approval. So people still laugh about it because it really was a big deal. My parents did not know what to think, do or say. But right before the wedding, mom finally cracked - "I'll give you two weeks, then I'm coming to CHECK HIM OUT." And she did. Camped out until she felt I was okay and had not lost my mind. It was so funny when she left, she pulled me aside and whispered in my ear, "he passed inspection." Until the day she died they had a great relationship.

So do you need to move on? Actually no one can answer that but you. I'm going to give you the same wisdom my aunt gave me concerning love - you will know when you know and I will add, if you don't know, be selfless, release him so that you both can find your better half.

When A Relationship Is Out Of Sync

A real key in a relationship to both be on the same footing, and to have the same goals for the relationship. The longer it is for when the relationships are when they are out of sync, the more likely it is for the relationship to become toxic and unsustainable, but what do you do when this happens? You have choices to make, and these can be difficult choices to make in this relationship.

You can choose to remain in status quo, and most likely suffer from this consequence. Like a rubber band we can be stretched for only so long. When you have to operate outside of your personal norms and standards you may the daily grind of the relationship to be more than you can handle. The relationship may have enough payoffs that it makes it ok for you to go on with the relationship. You may get enough return out of this relationship to make this endurable, then again you have an option to end the relationship at any time, or you can even opt to make choices in this relationship later.

You can also choose to end the relationship. This really depends on what you get back out of your partner. Do you get anything positive out of your partner? Do you receive kindness, nurturing, or anything else that makes you feel good? If the negative transactions outweigh the positive ones it may be time to move on. Think of positive transactions as deposits into a checking out, and the negative transactions as deductions in the account. If you are always in the red, chances are you aren't happy with the relationship and it may be time to move on.

Finally you can choose to make changes in the relationship. You can tell your partner what you are and aren't happy with in the relationship. You can tell them what you want and desire from the relationship. Keep in mind; you can not bluff when it comes to this. Tell them you want more connectedness, or more time together, or knowing where you stand with them. If they listen, and receive your comments well, and agree to work on these issues, these are good signs. If they do not listen to you, and tell you they aren't going to change, it is time to move on.

Everyone deserves a relationship that is healthy, mutual and one that you receive positive emotions from the other person. Sometimes we are out of sync in our closeness, and this may be due to ignorance of the other person, a mismatch in timing, or a mismatch in person. You hold the responsibility in driving a relationship where you want it to go. You will receive the type of relationship that you allow to happen. If you are out of step with that other person, strive to place the both of you in the same step and direction. You absolutely deserve a relationship that is rewarding for you.

Three Tips to Ensure an Unforgettable Date

Dating is a lot of fun and meeting a person who shares your interests and feelings is exhilarating. Also, when dating, you explore new sides of yourself, which can be enlightening and interesting.

When you are out on a date, there are no fixed rules as such. Every date is different and it is best to just go along with it. However, there are a few tips that might be helpful in getting the most out of the date and enjoying your time with your new friend.

Be punctual

It is good manners to be punctual. If you arrange to meet somewhere at 8PM be there at 8PM or a few minutes early. It is rude to be late and will give your date the impression that you are not that interested in him or bothered about the date. Also, being late will start the date on a bad note. Even if you have excuses, it will still not look good.

Be calm

It is normal to have butterflies in your stomach before a big date, both from excitement and mild alarm, but try not to let nerves get in the way of having a good time. What is the worst thing that could happen? Your date might not be successful or you might be compatible. What if it isn't successful? Well, there will be others! Once you realize the worst thing that could happen is not actually that bad, you should relax more. Take deep breaths and decide you are going to have fun.

Be honest

When you are on a date, be yourself! This includes being honest and not telling far-fetched yarns to impress your date. The odds are that he will see right through them and wonder why you feel the need to lie in order to impress him. Your life is interesting and everyone has good stories to tell. Just talking about your hobbies and interests is fine for a first date. Avoid prying questions and do not discuss past relationships or anything gloomy. The first date should be light-hearted and fun and telling tall tales will only get you into trouble when your date realizes they were not true.

These are just three helpful tips. The most important thing is to be yourself. If the two of you feel a mutual attraction and interest in one another, there will probably be more dates and who knows? You might even have found yourself a lifetime partner.

Online Dating - The Risks Involved

Although dating can be an exciting time in your life, as it infers whole new beginnings or meeting possible lifetime partners, it can also be a little bit dangerous, as you are essentially putting your trust in a stranger's hands. If you've never even met the person before, such as in a blind date or from an online source, this can be doubly true – therefore, you should take care to approach dating in the right way and be aware of the risks involved.

Online dating can be both good and bad in this respect. The good part comes from the fact that you've usually spoken to the person in length before meeting up, so you have a good idea of what they're like as a person. However, this is also the bad point, as anyone can make up an identity to hide behind online, and it can be far different from reality.

As recent US studies have shown, violent dates are on the rise, especially where younger, adolescent women are involved. With the "knowledge" that they need never see them again, many men are taking advantage of this fact and physically abusing a woman on a date, especially in the area of first dates where there is no prior history. These sad statistics also point out that unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases, such as HIV and others, are on the increase because of these risks.

It's a sad fact, but generally, women are physically weaker than men, and this is attributed to one of the reasons why dating abuse is becoming more widespread. Although it may seem like a good idea at first, since it keeps a certain distance, online dating is one of the ways that this kind of problem is commonly used, as men can pretend to be someone they're not, and then by the time you meet them in person, it's too late. It's to this effect that local governments are recognising this fact and integrating warnings and advice into their crime fighting policies.

One of the ways that online dating has taken off so much is due to the normal heartache that is suffered from the breakdown of a "normal" offline relationship. Many people, especially women, see online dating as a worthwhile alternative – after all, they've not had any success offline so where's the harm in online dating? Yet this is exactly where the dangers can lie, due to world wise people taking advantage of emotionally vulnerable targets.

Like any kind of dating, there is always the potential of being taken for a ride, both financially and emotionally. As long as you go into it with your eyes open, and be aware that not everyone may be who they say they are, then online dating can be as satisfying and fulfilling as any other kind of dating. However, due to the anonymity of it all, you just need to exercise a little bit of extra caution.

Preparing For That Big Date

It is normal to be both excited and nervous when preparing for a big date. The better prepared you are, the more relaxed the date will be for you both.

Try to set the date for a few days away. If you set the date for the following evening you will panic about not being prepared in time. If you set the date too far ahead, you will get very impatient and wish you had not made it so late. And your potential date might meet someone else in the meantime!

Pick a venue, which is relatively informal. If you go somewhere stuffy, you might feel awkward or uncomfortable and that is the last thing you want on a date. A nice place where you can feel at ease is best, perhaps somewhere you have been before so you know what to expect.

A lunch date is a good idea if it is your first date with somebody. If you get along well, you can spend the afternoon together too. A dinner date might be better as a second or third date. A lunch date can still be romantic but a first date is more about getting to know somebody.

Try to look presentable. This includes wearing clean clothes, having clean hair and nails and smelling fresh. Looking scruffy will imply that your date is not worth the effort.

Conversation should be light and flowing. Try not to discuss anything too heavy or depressing. Do not talk about past relationships that went wrong, especially on a first date. Light-hearted chat about work, your hobbies and interests is fine. Don't forget to ask your date questions about their interests too. Remember that silences need not be awkward. If you run out of things to say, don't panic. Just enjoying one another's company is pleasant enough.

The most important thing to remember is not to get stressed. Dates should not be terrifying experiences. Go out expecting to enjoy your date and the odds are that you will have a great time!

Steps to Asking Someone Out on a Date

This is the moment of truth, no more indecisions this is the moment you have being waiting for and only you can make it happened. Your probably thinking ok but how is the best way to go about it. Where do you start is up to you because you are choosing the person out on a date so the first step is actually asking your dream date out on a date.

These essential tips are simple so if you are having a hard time asking that special someone out on a date go back to these steps.

1 I will start with the negative first to get it over and done with is what happens if he or she said that dreaded word NO? Personally if they say no it is their loss as far as I'm concerned so do not see it as a kick in the guts to you. See it as they have lost a opportunity of happiness with you so they really are the one you should feel bad for.

2 Be prepared for the destination of the date so when the person said yes give them the details. If you do not know where to go write a list until you can come up with the correct destination.

3 When asking the person out it's better to do it when they are alone then with all their friends nearby.

4 Do not put pressure on a person when asking them out. If they say no so be it.

5 Be yourself so do not have a few drinks then ask the person out. You may feel braver but be your true self it is more attractive and more reassuring for the person you are asking out.

6, Practise what you want to say. Write it down you do not have to remember every word this is just so when you are ready to ask that special someone out on a date you have a good idea of what you are going to say. Also write down the reasons why you are asking them out.

7, Remember this when asking that special someone out he or she is just as lucky to have you, as you are to have them so go and ask them out. I would always prefer to know then regret what if afterwards.

Take note of these tips, enjoy the dating scene and I hope you end up with that special someone you both deserve.

How to Break Up with Her Using Sensitivity

Breaking up is always hard to take for anyone who is in a relationship. No one likes the feeling of being dumped, but break-ups are an unavoidable part of our lives. For you guys out there, it is very important to end a relationship properly to avoid future bad relationship karma.

1. Do it in person. To initial a break-up over the phone to her is harsh. Meet up with her and explain why the relationship between you and her does not work out.

2. Pick an appropriate place. Remember, ending a relationship is a humbling experience. Don't do it in a place where the person on the receiving end is going to feel more vulnerable than necessary.

3. Choose the right time. Try not to break up with her on special occasion or festive period, as you will not want her to remember you being so insensitive when every time that day rolls around.

4. Be honest. Tell her what does not work out. Let her understand that she will need to accept the truth and move on but do it in a sensitive way.

5. Keep your emotions in check. Don't seem too happy about the breakup: you'll come off as mean-spirited. Just be kind, caring, and considerate.

6. Don't over- react. Some people don't handle rejection well. Some people yell, scream, and cry. Do not react to their meltdown. Remember, rejection is tough. You've already got the upper hand by being the dumper. Let the dumpee behave ridiculously if they choose to. And if their tantrum escalates, get the heck out of there.

If you handle yourself well during the breakup, chances are you'll avoid any hard feelings with your ex. And while that may not seem so important at the time, it's vital to your future relationship karma!
